Measure the Risk and Severity Concepts with live prediction.
Unique mobile app with Live Prediction with Artificial Intelligence.
More than 2.500.000 accidents in database in U.S.A. for training the artificial intelligence.
WHAT DOES THIS APP DO?
"Live Prediction of Traffic Accidents" allows the driver to know, in real time and while you drive, the risk and severity values of a possible car accident.
Use this app while driving to know at all times, the probability of an accident. You may adapt to each moment, the speed and adequate care, to avoid having an accident with the car.
HOW DOES THIS APP WORK?
We have used artificial intelligence to learn with more than 2.500.000 car accidents in the USA.
Knowing the location of past accidents and a lot of factors involved in those accidents, we can predict the probability of an accident in a concrete place.
We take into account the following factors: Location where an accident happened, weather, time of the day, temperature, wind, wind chill, visibility, humidity, pressure and precipitation.
WHAT DO THE RISK AND SEVERITY VALUES MEAN?
Risk: Your chances of getting into a car accident during a 1,000-mile trip.
Your chances of getting into a car accident during a 1,000-mile trip are 1 in 366 as average, (Report by Esurance).
This is 0,27% as average. More than 0,5% is considered high probability, since you double the risk value. But it does not mean you are going to get an accident, means the probability is more than double.
Severity: Means the impact on traffic that the accident has. The lower, the less delay the accident produced in traffic.
Values range from 1 to 4.
1: Means a delay on traffic around 15 minutes.
2: Means a delay on traffic around 30 minutes.
3: Means a delay on traffic around 45 minutes.
4: Means a delay on traffic of more than 1 hour.
CAR ACCIDENT STATISTICS
In the USA, over 37,000 people die in road crashes each year, and 2.35 million are injured or disabled. Road crashes cost the U.S. $230.6 billion per year or an average of $820 per person. Road crashes are the single greatest annual cause of death of healthy U.S. citizens travelling abroad.
Road accidents have become very common these days in the world. Nearly 1.25 million people die in road crashes each year, on average, 3,287 deaths a day. Moreover, 20–50 million people are injured or disabled annually. Road traffic crashes rank as the 9th leading cause of death and accounts for 2.2% of all deaths globally. Road crashes cost USD 518 billion globally, costing individual countries from 1–2% of their annual GDP.
